SALEM, OR (December 23, 2016) - In the 3rd place game of the Capitol City Classic, Wilsonville (OR) beat Southridge (OR) by a convincing 59-41 margin.
Senior wing Zach Reichle scored 30 points, had 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the Wildcats. Fellow senior wing Harrison Steiger contributed 13 points and sophomore guard Jack Roche had 10 assists, a single game CCC tournament record.
Southridge was led by 6'8 senior post Robert Hester with 12 points.
McNary beat Thurston 60-46 for 4th place, while Sprague's Teagan Quitoriano exploded for a tournament record 41 points in the Olympians' 72-52 victory over Evergreen (WA).
