Fun Fact: Every week Sprague
Basketball has "Family
Dinners" where
families have chance
to host the varsity
team for dinner at
their house.
Playing up-tempo and with a focus on moving the basketball under first-year coach Jordan Graneto last year, the Olympians of Sprague finished 15-10 and 3rd in the Mountain Valley Conference... This year, with 7 of the team's top 8 players from last year back in the fold and led by seniors Mason Lomax and Kobe Withers along with 6'9 sophomore Dallon Morgan, Sprague is hoping for even more... The Olys are a very good shooting team who broke the school record in 3 point shots made in a season last year, they are good at converting transition situations, and they should be tougher defensively and on the boards this year due to guys getting in the weight room and getting stronger... Even though still a fairly young team (with only three seniors), the team has goals of winning the Mountain Valley and earning a trip to the Chiles Center to play in the state tournament this year...
