Wilson enters its third season under Coach Craig Cokley with a young but talented squad... Last season, the Trojans started three sophomores (Lucas Lommen, 6’4”, Collin Anderson, 6’2”, Jayden Brannan 6’3”) and a freshman point guard (Leo Sewell, 5’10”)... Wilson took their lumps but gained valuable experience, and the Trojans return all but one player from last season and look forward to competing at a much higher level in 2019-2020... Team chemistry, a strong culture and the willingness to work hard are the strengths; and the biggest challenge may be learning how to win... A relative lack of size will put our team’s resolve to the test and require that the Trojans compete at an extremely high level nightly... With nearly 90% of the teams scoring returning from last season, Wilson has the potential to make significant improvement and qualify for the post season... The Trojans will return most of it’s team again in 2020-21... Wilson is looking forward to the level of competition in the CCC and hopes it will bring out the best in our team and help the Trojans prepare for league play...
